Thomas...I see your gonna drop a few quickie recipes on us. Great idea. Here's one to share with the readership. Let's call it "Lazy West Indies Salad".
Nothing could ever unseat a true West Indies Salad marinated backfin lump crab-meat overnight. But here is one for the on the go person who can't trust their spouse or kids getting home from work or school before you do. Purchase 2 lbs. of claw meat, not the fingers that are fried but the next section up the claw from the finger. To me the claw meat is the sweeter of the crabs meat. Spread it out on a dinner plate so you can see the meat clusters. Pick all the bone from the claw meat as possible then then bunch it back up in a salad bowl. Just use 1 pound of the crab-meat in case you don't like it. Lightly garlic salt the crab and hit it with a shot of course ground black pepper. Pour about 1/2 a bottle of Zesty Italian Dressing over the crab and lightly toss....Ma...
